Delete your Uzbekcha account and data
Last updated: 29 October 2026
This page explains how to delete your account in Uzbekcha, the app for learning Uzbek (store name: “Uzbekcha: Learn Uzbek”), developed by UzVIP, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. It applies to the app on iPhone and Android. Our Privacy Policy has the full details.
In the app
- Open Uzbekcha.
- Tap the gear icon on the home screen to open Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account and data.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away, on our server and on your phone. This needs an internet connection and cannot be undone.
If you signed in with Apple or Google and have since reinstalled the app or changed phones, first sign in again with the same account under Settings > Account, so that you delete the account that holds your progress.
By email
If you can no longer use the app, email [email protected] and ask us to delete your account. Write from the email address of the Apple or Google account you signed in with, so that we can find your account and know the request is yours. If you used Apple’s Hide My Email, include the relay address, which you can see in your Apple account settings under Sign in with Apple. We will delete the account and confirm within 30 days.
If you never signed in with Apple or Google, we do not have an email address for your account and cannot find it from an email. Delete it in the app instead. If you no longer have the app, your account is deleted automatically after 24 months without practice.
What is deleted
- Your account and its sign-in details: the random key that identifies your phone, and the user id and email address that Apple or Google shared with us.
- Your answers (your first name and everything else you told us when you started), your lessons, your progress, minutes practised, streak and badges, and the words you practise in reviews.
- Your mistake reports, and any notes our team added to your account.
- Your subscription status on our server, and your record at our subscription management service.
- The audio made only for your lessons, such as lines that say your name.
- If you signed in with Apple, the app’s Sign in with Apple link, which we revoke with Apple.
- When you delete in the app, everything the app keeps on your phone: your next lessons and their audio, your progress, your settings and sessions waiting to be sent. Your reminders are cancelled.
We never keep your speaking practice recordings, or what you said in conversation practice, so there are none to delete.
What is kept, and for how long
- Database backups: up to 14 days. Deleted data leaves the backups within 14 days.
- Our server’s technical logs, which include IP addresses: up to 30 days.
- Data already sent to our AI language-model provider to write your lessons or play a conversation: it deletes it within 30 days of receiving it, unless it must keep it longer to enforce its usage policy or by law.
- Conversation audio: the spoken audio of a character’s lines and suggested answers in conversation practice is kept on our server for reuse, with no link to your account, so it is not deleted with it. It can include your first name.
- Emails you sent us, including a deletion request: for as long as needed to help you.
- Your purchases: Apple or Google keeps its own records of what you bought from the App Store or Google Play, under its own privacy policy. We cannot delete those.
- The waitlist: if you also joined the waitlist on this website, that record is separate. Email us to have it deleted too.
Your subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first in Subscriptions on Google Play or in your App Store account settings, or in the app under Settings > Subscription > Manage subscription. See our Terms of Use.
